Bruce Hornsby & The Range の、ピアノイントロも印象的な美しい佳曲。映画 『バックドラフト (Backdraft)』 のエンディングテーマ曲にもなっているから、聴いたことのある人もいるかもしれない。そう、実はあの曲はブルースホーンズビーの曲だったのであった。ロサンゼルスと日本にあるユニバーサルスタジオには同名のアトラクションがあるが、この曲はそこで毎日のようにかかっている。ショーのたびにかかるのだから、相当数のオンエア回数だと思う（笑）。このアトラクションはすでに10年以上前からあったと思うから、実はかなりの人がこの曲を何気なく聞いているのだ。
歌詞を訳してみたがなんとなくオーディションを受けたときの彼女の歌ということはわかるけれども、いまいちピンと来ない。
結局その彼女はオーディションに落ちたのか？彼女をかっている審査員がこの歌詞を歌っている足長おじさん的な人なのか。はたまた歌詞の設定はオーディションではなくて、ブロードウェイのミュージカルでの初舞台だったのか？どなたかかわかる方、教えてください。
